is it possible to make ground chicken without a meat grinder?

I want to make a chili using ground chicken. But I have chicken breasts. Is there anyway that I can make ground chicken without spending money to buy a meat grinder?
hmmm… gave it a go with my blender (don’t have a food processor) and came out gooey.. forget the chili I’m making a meatloaf!!

Have you got a food processor? If so whizz it up in that.

Yes, just chop it really fine – or put it in a blender or food processor.

put the chicken into the food processor and give it a few turns not too much or you will have a paste if you don’t have one use a sharp knife and chop the meat very fine .

Not really. You can sort of use a food processor, but the consistency will be frightening. The processor will turn it into a sort of chicken pate. Great for meatballs, but not so much for chili.

For chili I think you’re probably better off cubing the breast meat really small by hand.

Put it in the food processor or try using a blender.
