I need some help finding a tool to finish making my sword?

i am making myself a full sized buster style sword out of high grade carbon steel and to finish the edge i am trying to find a manual grinder that i can use to edge the weapon. i do not want to use an electric grinder because it leaves an ugly ground edge on the metal. if anyone knows of a tool i can use please respond thank you

There are a few old grind stones still in use some places. You might have to haunt some antiques stores to find one. They are set on a frame and peddled to turn the wheel. This would probably be the best for starting the edge on your sword. Then finishing with whet stone.

If you have already ground the edge with the electric grinder and just want to do the finishing, there’s a video on my site of a swordsmith explaining what to do. Take a look http://www.chinese-swords-guide.com/sword-sharpening.html
