I just discovered I Have a Hamilton Beach Model K Mixer, are there replacement parts available?
My Wife just inherited, thru her mother, a vintage Model K Hamilton Beach Mixer, Chrome, and in excellent shape, amazing considering it is at least 50 years old. It is runnin rather slowly, and I checked, and noticed that the brushes are not totally worn, but almost there, and since there are two sets, I would like to replace them, and was also wondering if anybody knew the ratings of the resistors on the plate for the Speed control. I would like to replace these with modern ones, as the older ones are prone to failure and tons of heat. I would also like to see if there are available, the several addons, like Juicer, meat grinder, etc. Any Help is extremely appreciated. Thanks!!!

the replacemetn parts are not cost effective
There are a number of service parts outfits on the net.
for one.
If no help from hamilton beach & if you want to try to DIY.
Carbon brushes should not be a problem.& if the resistors
have colored stripes you can match the resistor codes at an electronics store or motor repair shop.
Tell them what they’re for to get right current rating.
Have found the wiring on old appliances to be in need of replacement also.
Good luck.
