how do i grind apples with my baby food grinder?
its one of the manual ones i bought at kmart for 8 dollars. it has a picture of an apple on it, but i cant seem to figure it out. Do i boil the apple first?

Peel and cook the apples, then grind them. Follow this same procedure for any harder fruits and veggies.
As for how to cook them, I don’t think it matters what method you use. Boiling is probably easiest, but use as little water as possible, as too much water will cause the nutrients to leech out of the food.
Yes, you have to soften whatever food you use. I would suggest cutting the apple up, to remove seeds and the core. And don’t forget about the skin.
yes it makes the pureeing easier! just boil it slightly until it is tender dont over cook it as you will lose most of the vitamins!
peel it first, the skin is a nightmare and doesnt puree well and can get stuck in baby’s throat when theyare young!
