Hi. I use the Dremel a LOT in my stone carving. Usually, when the bits start to loosen even after the chuck is tight, the collet (that slim aluminium sleeve with 4 slits) has worn out. Get a new replacement of the right size (Commonly 1/8 or 3/32 inch) and make sure you tighten your chuck correctly. I usually go finger tight with another 1/4 turn MAX with the spanner. That way, my bits don’t slip in the collet and cause it to wear out prematurely. Hope this helped!
