    Try one of those air spray cans you use on keyboards.

    Enrust is a good start after oiling and ridding of some of the rust.

    antiques will clean up–have done it–by rubbing with lard or bacon and baking in a hot oven for about 30 minutes, it will smoke and stink so turn your fan on and don’t try to handle it while it is still hot, first let it cool then use a kitchen scratcher, soap and hot water. Hope it works.
    Put some oil on it after you are done cleaning to keep it from rusting again.
