If a tree falls in my yard and no one is around to hear it, can I just leave it there? Unfortunately unless you live in the forest, a fallen tree in the yard can be a mess.

First survey the tree and area for any power lines that could have been brought down. Do NOT enter an area where there are any power lines touching the tree or on the ground. Call the utility company and your local emergency center immediately and report the situation.

When you have determined the area is safe from electrical hazards, unless you are removing the tree yourself, call a tree removal service. Using a chain saw and cutting up and removing a large tree is not a job for a novice. Fallen trees can be very dangerous and as cuts are made the weight can shift and branches can break and fall and the tree can roll.

Cutting up and removing the trunk and branches of a fallen tree can be the easiest part of the clean up.

After you clean up the debris, you still have a stump. What’s the best way to remove a tree stump from your yard? This depends on the type of the tree, size of the stump, and how patient you are.

There are several methods for removing tree stumps involving recruiting from Mother Nature to using brute force.

Brute Force

This method is the epitome of the definition of “brute force.” First you dig around the stump chopping your way through any roots you encounter. When you are deep enough to get a chain securely around or underneath the stump you connect the other end to a winch mounted to another tree or vehicle. An electric power winch is a wise choice.

Be extremely careful by making sure everyone is out of the area and that the winch operator is well shielded. If the winch cable or chain breaks, or if the chain slips off the stump, a deadly catapulted steel whip can result. Any property in range could also be severely damaged including the vehicle.

There are plenty of macho types that might be laughing when they read this however if all these instructions make you a bit weak in the knees, there are plenty of other docile methods for removing stumps.

Injection Method

If you have a little patience you can help the stump break down.

1. Get the stump cut down as low as possible to the ground.
2. Drill holes at least a half an inch in diameter as far down as the length of the bit as possible in the stump. One hole about every three inches is good.
3. Fill the holes with water. Put a fertilizer in which has a high nitrogen content. You could even use cow manure. There are commercial fertilizers available. Use a high nitrogen NPK fertilizer.
4. Wet the area around the stump and the stump itself with water and cover with plastic.
5. Wet the stump periodically and insert more fertilizer every few weeks.

More Ideas

There are folks who suggest rock salt will work as well as fertilizer however rock salt might kill all plants in the immediate area.

Also you could try to burn the stump depending on where it is. This can cause a mess and a charcoal stump that will then not rot as quickly. There are products for stump removal that often contain kerosene and involve burning the stump.

If the stump is accessible to equipment you could rent a stump grinder or call a professional stump grinder in your area.

Fly ash is the larger of China’s current emissions of industrial waste residue, using them grinding mill used in cement mixing after treatment, mortar, fillers, bricks and others are currently the most promising ways of utilizing. At the present stage of China’s annual industrial slag has already reached 30 million tons, with the development of power industry, coal-fired power plant fly ash emissions will increase every year. A large number of fly ash, if not addressed, it will generate dust, pollution of the atmosphere; if discharged into the river water can cause blockage of the toxic chemicals which will be on the human body and biological hazard. Therefore, based on conserving resources, reducing pollution, the handling of fly ash utilization has become a closely watched of the new area.

Based on the current mill technology development, large-scale ultra-fine milling machine has been able to achieve a one-time ultrafine materials processing, through the mill processed fine fly ash material, uniform particle size, surface activity improved, direct-doped added to the concrete can save a lot of cement raw materials, to improve the workability of concrete mixing materials, reinforced concrete plasticity and stability. Even on cement production enterprises in accordance with the ratio of 8% will be different species of fly ash blended cement clinker in the cement of finished products. At present the main use of fly ash used mill equipment has the following:

1, Vertical roller mill, referred to as vertical mill. Vertical roller mill is the use of large-scale roll system to realize high-volume grinding of materials handling equipment, as compared with ordinary mill’s strengths lies in equipment and operation of large-scale automation. The usual vertical milling machine output could reach 100-500 tons per hour or more. Vertical grinding machine roller by a dedicated hydraulic system control, operation flexibility, ease of repair and maintenance. At present the domestic market, vertical mill grinding in a variety of energy-efficient high-yield production process for its overall performance has been far ahead of many milling machine, Raymond Mill equipment. “Using the vertical cement grinding mill is the future direction of development, instead of cement ball mill vertical grinding mill has proved its feasibility.” Senior advisor of China Cement Net long-ming.

2, trapezoidal mill. Trapezium Mill has super Pressure Trapezium Grinder Mill, and the latest European trapezoidal Mill MTW. Trapezium Grinder Mill the traditional grinding roller and grinding ring are designed multi-level ladder shape, slow down the material in the grinding roller and grinding ring slipped between the speed of the extension of the RCC material time; high horizontal spring, the pressure is more strong, and greatly increased the fineness of the finished product and output. The latest high-technology components and a new concept of connecting components, reducing foreign matter on the extent of damage to the machine to ensure the security and stability of equipment operation results. Applies to Mohs hardness not higher than 9.3 and humidity below 6% of the mineral variety of non-flammable and explosive materials. 100-800 mesh materials usually yield between 20-50 tonnes of processing require the use of trapezoidal Mill better.

With the development and utilization of fly ash wide space for more on the technical level of the corresponding mill getting higher and higher requirements on the market of traditional Raymond Mill, ball mill can not meet to deal with industrial production capacity and fineness of the needs of a new type of vertical milling machine, milling machine with its trapezoidal latest technological achievements and to facilitate efficient use of the performance will become the mainstream equipment used in milling machines.

Some usefull tips

Almonds: To remove the skin of almonds easily, soak them in hot water for 15-20 minutes.

Ants: Putting 3-4 cloves in the sugar container will keep the ants at bay.

Biscuits: If you keep a piece of blotting paper at the bottom of the container, it will keep biscuits fresh for a longer time.

Butter: Avoid the use of butter. If it is essential to use, use a butter containing low saturated fat or with plant stanols (which avoid absorption of cholesterol by our body) or similar substitutes.

Apples: Apply some lemon juice on the cut surface of the apple to avoid browning. They will look fresh for a longer time.

Banana: Apply mashed banana over a burn on your body to have a cooling effect.

Bee and Scorpion Sting Relief: Apply a mixture of 1 pinch of chewing tobacco and 1 drop of water. Mix and apply directly and immediately to the sting; cover with band aid to hold in place. Pain will go away in just a few short minutes.

Bitter Gourd (Karela): Slit Karelas at the middle and apply a mixture of salt, wheat flour and curd all round. Keep aside for 1/2 an hour and then cook.

Celery: To keep celery fresh for long time, wrap it in aluminium foil and place in the refrigerator.

Burnt Food: Place some chopped onion in the vessel having burnt food, pour boiling water in it, keep for 5 minutes and then clean.

Chilli Powder: Keeping a small piece of hing (asafoetida) in the same container will store chilli powder for long time.

Chopping: Use a wooden board to chop. It will not blunt the knife. Don’t use a plastic board, small plastic pieces may go with the vegetables.

Coriander/Mint: You can use dried coriander and mint leaves in coarse powder form in vegetable curry or chutney, if fresh ones are not available.

To keep them fresh for a longer time, wrap them in a muslin cloth and keep in a fridge.

Cockroaches: Put some boric powder in kitchen in corners and other places. Cockroaches will leave your house.

Coconut: Immerse coconut in water for 1/2 an hour to remove its hust.

Dry Fruits: To chop dry fruits, place them in fridge for half an hour before cutting. Take the fruits out and cut them with a hot knife (dip it in hot water before cutting).

Dough/Rolling pin: If the dough sticks to the rolling pin, place it in freezer for a few minutes.

Egg peeling off: Make a small hole in the egg by piercing a pin before boiling it. You will be able to remove its skin very easily.

Egg fresh: Immerse the egg in a pan of cool salted water. If it sinks, it is fresh; if it rises to the surface, it is certainly quite old.

Garlic: Garlic skin comes off easily if the garlic cloves are slightly warmed before peeling.

Ghee: Avoid the use of ghee. If it is necessary, substitute it with canola oil. Even for making halwa, you can partly substitute it with oil.

Green Chillies: To keep the chillies fresh for a longer time, remove the stems before storing.

Green Peas: To preserve green peas, keep them in a polythene bag in the freezer.

Idlies: Place a betel (paan) leaf over the leftover idli and dosa batter to prevent them sour. Do not beat idli batter too much, the air which has been incorporated during fermentation will escape. If you add half a tsp of fenugreek seeds to the lentil and rice mixture while soaking, dosas will be more crisp.

Fruits: To ripen fruits, wrap them in newspaper and put in a warm place for 2-3 days. The ethylene gas they emit will make them ripe.

Frying: Avoid deep frying. Substitute deep frying with stir frying or oven bake. Don’t pour the oil, but make a habit of spraying the oil in the utensil for cooking. Heat the utensil first, then add oil. This way oil spreads well. You will use less oil this way.

Left Over: Don’t throw away the foods left over. Store them in Fridge. Use them in making tasty dishes.

Lemon/Lime: If the lemon or lime is hard, put it in warm water for 5-10 minutes to make it easier to squeeze.

Lizards: Hang a peacock feather, lizards will leave your house.

Milk: Moisten the base of the vessel with water to reduce the chances of milk to stick at the bottom. Keep a spoon in the vessel while boiling milk at medium heat. It will avoid sticking the milk at the bottom of the vessel.Adding half a tsp of sodium bicarbonate in the milk while boiling will not spoil the milk even if you don’t put it in the fridge.

Mixer/Grinder: Grind some common salt in your mixer/grinder fro some time every month. This will keep your mixer blades sharp.

Mosquitoes: Put a few camphor tablets in a cup of water and keep it in the bed room near your bed, or in any place with mosquitoes.

Noodles: When the noodles are boiled, drain all the hot water and add cold water. This way all the noodles will get separated.

Onions: To avoid crying, cut the onions into two parts and place them in water for 15 minutes before chopping them.Wrap the onions individually in a newspaper and store in a cool and dark place to keep them fresh for long time.

Oven: Watch from the oven window to conserve energy because the

oven temperature drops by 25 degrees every time its door is opened,

To clean the oven, apply a paste of sodium bicarbonate and water on the walls and floor of the oven and keep the oven on low heat for about half an hour. Dried food can easily be removed.

Paneer: To keep paneer fresh for several days, wrap it in a blotting paper while storing in the refrigerator. Do not fry paneer, immerse it in boiling water to make it soft and spongy.

Papad: Bake in microwave oven. Wrap the papads in polythene sheet and place with dal or rice will prevent them from drying and breaking.

Pickles: To prevent the growth of fungus in pickles, burn a small grain of asafoetida over a burning coal and invert the empty pickle jar for some time before putting pickles in the jar.

Popcorn: Keep the maize/corn seeds in the freezer and pop while still frozen to get better pops.

Potato: To bake potatoes quickly, place them in salt water for 15 minutes before baking. Use the skin of boiled potatoes to wipe mirrors to sparkling clean.Don’t store potatoes and onions together. Potatoes will rot quickly if stored with onions.

Refrigerator: To prevent formation of ice, rub table salt to the insides of your freeze.

Rice: Add a few drops of lemon juice in the water before boiling the rice to make rice whiter. Add a tsp of canola oil in the water before boiling the rice to separate each grain after cooking. Don’t throw away the rice water after cooking. Use it to make soup or add it in making dal (lentils). Add 5g of dried powdered mint leaves to 1kg of rice. It will keep insects at bay. Put a small paper packet of boric powder in the container of rice to keep insects at bay. Put a few leaves of mint in the container of rice to keep insects at bay.

Samosa: Bake them instead of deep frying to make them fat free. Don’t fry the filling potato masala. Preserve the samosas in freezer. For eating, take out of the freezer two hours in advance and bake them over low temp.

Sugar: Put 2-3 cloves in the sugar to keep ants at bay.

Tadka: Use sprouted mustard seeds (rayee) and fenugreek (methi) seeds for your tadkas. Both of them when sprouted have more nutritional values. Also this add flavour to the dish and can be more beneficial, besides giving decorative look to the dish.

Tomato: To remove the skin of tomatoes, place them in warm water for 5-10 minutes. The skin can then be easily peeled off. When tomatoes are not available or too costly, substitute with tomato puree or tomato ketchup/sauce. Place overripe tomatoes in cold water and add some salt. Overnight they will become firm and fresh.

Tamarind: Tamarind is an excellent polish for brass and copper items. Rub a slab of wet tamarind with some salt sprinkled on it on the object to be polished.

Gargles with tamarind water is recommended for a sore throat.

Utensils: Use no sticking utensils. Use thick bottom utensils, they get uniformly heated. For electric stoves, use flat bottom utensils. Add a little bit of common salt to the washing powder for better cleaning of utensils.

Vegetables: Don’t discard the water in which the vegetables are soaked or cooked. Use it in making soup or gravy. To keep the vegetables fresh for a longer time, wrap them in newspaper before putting them in freeze. Chop the vegetables only when you are ready to use them. Don’t cut them in too advance. It would spoil their food value.

Sink (Blocked): To clear the blocked drain pipe of your kitchen sink, mix 1/2 cup sodium bicarbonate in 1 cup vinegar and pour it into the sink, and pour about 1 cup water. In an hour the drain pipe will open.

Soup Salty: Place a raw peeled potato in the bowl, it will absorb the extra salt.

Yoghurt (Home Made): To set yogurt in winter, place the container in a warm place like oven or over the voltage stabliser.

Yogurt: If the yogurt has become sour, put it in a muslin cloth and drain all the water. Then add milk to make it as good as fresh in taste. Use the drained water in making tasty gravy for vegetables or for basen curry. To keep the yogurt fresh for many days, fill the vessel containing yogurt with water to the brim and refrigerate. Change the water daily..

“IF THERE IS A GOD THEN;

WHO CAN BE AGAINST US”

Warm Regards

A full body detox is great for overall health and longevity purposes once or twice per year. I’ll get into how to do that later. Right now lets talk about a basic cleanse that is gentle enough to use every day yet strong enough to work. Here is this simple recipe:

1.2 Tablespoons Apple Cider Vinegar I’ve heard that “Braggs” ACV is the best brand. Honestly, I’ve had wonderful results and have only used a generic supermarket brand which is about a dollar and change for about a liter.

2. 1/8-1/2 Teaspoon Baking Soda (This will neutralize the vinegar so you don’t harm the enamel on your teeth, it neutralizes in your stomach anyway so you are still getting all the benefits of the ACV. It is actually easier for your body to absorb what it needs to from the ACV if you neutralize it first. By taking out that step, you saved your body that work (read: work = energy) and now it can use all of its energy to absorb what it needs. You want to get it to about a 7% alkaline level. The ACV you buy in a grocery store is about 5%. The more that acid bothers you (GERD, acid reflux etc) the more Baking soda you should use. Start with 1/8 of a teaspoon and assess your tolerance. I have found ¼ teaspoon to be the magic number for me. Remember Baking Soda is sodium based, you may find yourself retaining a good amount of water for the first couple of days until your body becomes accustomed to the additional salt. I am extremely salt sensitive and couldn’t get my feet in my heels the first night. Then again, you know me and my Jersey girl 6 inch stilettos!

3. ¼-1/2 fresh lemon juice

4. 1 Tablespoon Organic Honeyb

Add about 4-6 oz of water and drink 2-4x/day. If you can get it down once on an empty stomach, you’re doing better than most people out there. I warm my water and make it into a tea. I find it to be a lot tastier when I throw in the additional (less palate pleasing) ingredients listed below.

ADDITIONAL INGRIDENTS – OPTIONAL:

1. 20 drops Ginger Extract. Ginger/Gingerol has TONS of benefits. Check out www.superhumanradio.com and tune in to the show on Ginger –The Uber Herb. Carl Lenor explains all the benefits of Ginger better than I ever could!!! (Gotta plug your boy, Carl, he let NY/NJ speed talker rant on his show for an hour, sweetiepie…u know me, I NEVER forget anyone who has helped me in my career!!).

2. 1/2 Teaspoon Cayenne Pepper, if you can stand it. Go slow with this to assess your tolerance. I LOVE spicy food so the first day, brass guts over here decided to throw an entire teaspoon right into the mix. I thought my throat was going to close. Me and my daring (read: dumb) Rosanneisms! Heehee. Cayenne pepper heals and rebuilds tissue of the digestive system, increases the effectiveness of other foods and herbs when used with them, and is also linked to healing the heart and cardiac tissue. Cayenne has been known to stop heart attacks. Contrary to popular belief, it does not cause ulcers, it actually heals them. That’s if you can deal with the burn if you have one. Enough facts, lets get down the nitty-gritty of why everyone is reading this….cayenne is a natural thermogenic which has been proven to raise body temperature, boots metabolism and ultimately aid and speed fat loss. Just think increased circulation = increased lymph flow ( that means decreased cellulite ladies) = detox = ULTIMATE HEALTH, FATLOSS AND BODY WEIGHT MAINTENANCE (we’ll get into that another time).

3. I’ve also been adding 1 Teaspoon of Turmeric Powder. It’s an extremely acquired taste. To be perfectly frank, this stuff is icky…and I can stomach most everything “nasty.” It helps restore flora in the intestinal track. Turmeric has also been proven to clear the skin of those who suffer from acne and blemishes, help eliminate facial hair growth in females (not sure that this is proven internally, but I found a lot of stuff on using it topically). CAREFUL w/ this stuff, however….it STAINS!! After all, one of its main old time uses was as a dye in India, where it originates. I learned this the hard way. It stains EVERYTHING! And I mean everything from bed sheets, clothing, towels, down to the skin on my face. Its a nasty orange color but stains a fluorescent yellow color…think the color of a yellow highlighter exploding all over you!

OTHER HERBS AND SUPPLEMENTS TO AID IN DETOX:

1. Milk thistle – The liver is the most important organ of detox in our bodies. Milk thistle helps support liver detoxification and healthy liver function.

2. DHEA – Caffeine addicts, fat burner fanatics, diet pill poppers….they don’t work for you anymore for a reason. Most people just say, your body gets “used to them” which is medically known as “Adrenal Fatigue.” Your adrenals are little glands located on top of each kidney. They are the major players when it comes to hormone secretion. Too much stress, not enough sleep, too many stimulants are all a big cause of adrenal overload. When they get overloaded, they do not function properly. DHEA helps “clean them out”. If you can get your hands on Rx DHEA, I’m jealous. Seriously, if you go that route, please be carefully monitored by your physician. If you can’t, regular drugstore DHEA is fine. Also, the only way to fully clean them out is to eliminate your stimulant intake (I know, I just went through my caffeine withdrawls last week…no fun but soooo worth it), eliminate the stress in your life and get your sleep.

3. ALOE VERA – Aloe Vera gel is one of the best digestive cleanses out there. I’ve been using it for a week both internally and on my skin and have noticed major differences. It is sold as a ‘Detox’ in most heath food and vitamin shops and also at your local grocery store as juice. You probably want to mask the taste, the plain juice tastes like dirty shower water.

4. Caster Oil – NOT TO USE OFTEN…stimulates spasm of your upper intestines, not just the lower intestine (like most other herbal or chemical laxatives) therefore, will clean out your entire intestinal tract. It will typically be effective w/ in 5 hours of taking and is so effective you may not pass your bowels for 3 or so days afterwards b/c you are so “cleaned out” (SORRY graphic I know but detoxing can be nasty!)

5. Psyllium Husk and other fiber supps – We want to eliminate everything in your digestive tract. Fiber helps this moves everything along more quickly.

6. Digestive Enzymes – You can get at your local vitamin store.

7. Papaya is the best natural digestive enzyme out there and its only a couple dollars at the grocery store. A delicious Brazilian shake, compliments of my sister in law: 1/2 papaya, 1/2 pineapple, Ice and water. Blend to desired consistency. DELICIOUS!

8. 1 serving of Greens Supplement (I’ve tried many, evidentially Greens Plus is the best but I’ve gotta say Greens First is much better as far as taste. There are tons of brands out there and I’m not too sure if it really makes too much of a difference which you use). Mix your greens w/ 2 tablespoons of ground flax (either grind your flax seeds in a grinder, I use an espresso grinder or just buy “Flax-o-meal” at your local grocery store. STORE IN THE FRIDGE. Add to a large glass of water. This will naturally flush your system more quickly than anything I’ve tried thus far.

9. Fish Oils – Cod liver oil is awesome for detox but anything w/ EPA and DHA (is that right, don’t have a bottle in front of me and don’t have time to look it up as I am typing this out quickly to you.)

KEY ELEMENTS TO REMEMBER WHEN DETOXING:

1. Drink TONS of water, obviously we are trying to flush your system

2. Limit sugar, sweetener, caffeine etc. Anything toxic to your system needs to be omitted or at least used very sparingly.

3. Exclude or limit dairy intake, it does not work well with cleansing. I didn’t research this further, I will eventually, I just read it multiple times during my research and figured it to be a valuable point.

4. Limit intake of meats…ok very quickly, meat isn’t digested and literally rots in your belly….ok, I’ll stop there…u get my point!

5. Fiber, fiber, fiber. While you’re detoxing the free radicals and toxins from your liver, kidneys and lymph will be released into your blood stream/lymph system and you want them OUT. The addition of a herbal laxative or fiber supplement is quite common in most detox programs.

6. Dry brush your stomach in a circular motion (15 times clockwise/15x counter clockwise) upon first waking to stimulate your bowels. Again, more on dry brushing later. It is very useful but too long to go into detail in this email.

7. The more RAW foods you can eat over cooked, the better. Raw fruit and veggies are all game. Don’t worry about the sugar in fruit, you will not gain fat from eating fruit doing this. The best line from a weight watchers meeting one time….a girl said she was afraid of the sugar in fruit and a 300 pound lifer turned to her and said, “Honey look at me, do u think I got like this by eating too much fruit!” Raw nuts, beans, sprouts and fish are great protein sources. I am a physique competitor and wasn’t worried about my 5 meals when I did my 2 week cleanse, but I did include whey protein because I wanted to keep protein intake slightly higher than carb intake. Remember whey protein will have sweeteners in there unless you use the unflavored kind so use it use it sparingly.

CLEANSING TECHNIQUES AND REMEDIES:

1. Taking tea tree oil baths or using mint oil extract body soaps will oxygenate the blood. The more oxygen in blood, the more circulation, more lymph flow…detox, anti cellulite, yadda yadda yadda!

2. Coconut oil or milk body lotion…same as above

3. Dry brushing and Contrast Shower Technique – I swear I was floored when I read the contrast shower thing because obviously you know where I heard of it first. Its all about stimulating lymph flow, detox and even anti-cancer benefits (especially breast cancer which is associated w/ lymph flow and drainage).

Igor Ledochowski was a lawyer who was fascinated by Milton Erickson’s belief that hypnosis would change the world. He became so obsessive about pursuing the art of practical hypnosis that he eventually gave up his career.

He sought out the stewardship of many of the world’s most competent and influential hypnotists. And by 2002, he had been mentored by many famous hypnotism and nlp teachers such as Richard Bandler, John LaValle, and John Grinder.

He is now recognized as a master hypnotist of international acclaim. He is regarded as one of the world’s foremost experts and trainers in conversational or covert hypnosis.

Indeed he was the first ever hypnotist to release a full audio course on Conversational Hypnosis in 2000. Igor completely revamped this course very recently and renamed it, The Power Of Conversational Hypnosis. It became the No.1 best selling hypnosis course in the world.

The question is…is it any good?

Well…for a start it is certainly filled with many great examples of how you can use covert hypnosis in real life – without the recipient being aware you are doing so!

For example, you can learn things like…

- The powerful “hypnotic triple ” command that SWAT teams use to force compliance … even in a fire-fight with hardened criminals.

- An instant rapport technique that will get even strangers to open up to you … reveal their inner longings …. and give you all the clues you need to persuade them to do as you say.

- The conversational way to get a sales prospect to imagine the intense feelings of owning what you are selling, so they naturally feel compelled to buy right now! You can help them intensify the feelings so strongly that all objections simply melt away.

- How to create an instant trigger to unleash your subjects deepest desires…. and how to point them in your direction.

- (This is my favorite!) A simple technique that creates amnesia for any objection your subject may have to your suggestions… they simply forget to remember what it was that might have stopped them from following your suggestions.

After just going through part of the program, and starting to apply some of the conversational hypnosis techniques of Igor Ledochowski, I truly feel that it is possible to take your unconscious persuasion skills (and your lifestyle) to a whole new level of wealth, and fun!

In my opinion, Igor Ledochowski’s “The Power of Conversational Hypnosis” Course is perhaps the best and most comprehensive covert hypnosis product out there.

But don’t just take my word for it!
