   I do not have much experience with grinders, but this one does not seem to grind fresh cloves, which is exactly what I bought it for. I have also tried to grind multi vitamins with it as well with little success. I would probably buy a different grinder if I were you.

   This grinder was very low quality, the pieces didn’t even fit together correctly. There was a plastic gasket that fit between two of the pieces so they wouldn’t be loose. I have never seen that on a decent grinder before. The screen is also a little to coarse of a mesh. More plant material is passed through with the pollen than you would like, kind of pointless actually. But if all you need is a basic grinder to mash things up, this will work.

   I’ve had this for several months and find it works just as well now as it did when I first got it.

   A strong magnet keeps the lid on securely, the grinding ‘blades’ have shown no wear (and haven’t broken like plastic grinders have), and it’s not at all heavy. I’m a bit disappointed, though, that now it’s being sold with a velvet pouch when it didn’t come with one when I purchased it. Oh well; it’s still a great product!
